Deborah Vinall discusses her experience using the practice in her therapeutic work with clients and shares her own journey of becoming a yogi, clinician and coming up with the idea to combine her two passions.

Deborah Vinall, LMFT, RYT serves adult and child survivors of trauma through her private practice, Tamar Counseling Services, in Upland, CA. Using EMDR, narrative therapy, art, play, mindfulness, and yoga therapy modalities, Deborah facilitates dramatic transformations as clients experience newfound freedom from painful and crippling life experiences ranging from surviving sex trafficking to shooting massacres. She has helped veterans of war and survivors of rape, dog attacks, car accidents, domestic violence, and child physical, sexual, emotional, and religious abuses. Prior to opening her practice in 2010, Deborah gained extensive experience working with traumatized youth within the foster care system, and has provided therapy services in residential treatment facilities for severely emotionally disturbed youth and adult survivors of human trafficking.
