In this episode, Nicole Anavim joins me to discuss her journey as a graduate student entering the field of Marriage and Family Therapy and discusses her experience and growth both personally and professionally.

Nicole is proud to be a member of the Meridian Counseling team, assisting with the intake process and office business. With a deep interest and passion for mental health, Nicole is currently studying at California State University, Northridge. There she will obtain her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Nicole has recently begun her internship at The Ness Counseling Center, where she works directly with clients, further extending her position and experience in the mental health community. Aside from academics, Nicole has clinical training working as a counselor at a treatment center designated for adolescents who suffer from mental health and/or substance abuse. Nicole deeply believes in the power of therapy and is grateful to be a part of a practice that emphasizes growth and exploration!
